Hi! I am Mrs. Quakenbush. Here at Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School, I teach first grade. After 25 years of teaching in public schools, I can honestly say that I still enjoy helping boys and girls to learn. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, reading and preschool.

My husband and I live in Buies Creek where we attend church and where he works for Campbell University. We have two grown children. Our son is a graduate from NC State and our daughter is a graduate from Campbell University. They have come through Harnett County Schools and were well prepared to continue their studies on the university level.

My assissant is Mrs. Johnson. She has worked in preschool, daycare and first grade. She and her family live in Coats. We are very happy to be working together in first grade.
