School
begins promptly at 8:00 am. Classroom teachers will have morning work
on desks for students to complete. These skills are part of their
required daily work. When students arrive at school late, they miss
valuable learning time, which puts them at a disadvantage. Students arriving after 8:15 am MUST be accompanied to the mail office by a parent or guardian to be appropriately signed in.

Students who are tardy for school or who are dismissed early will be dealt with in the manner listed below.
3 Tardies or early leaves per year = a warning letter to the parent or guardian
6 Tardies or early leaves per year = a referral to Harnett County Schools' social worker
10 Tardies or early leaves per year = a referral to Harnett County Department of Social Services as educational neglect
