Message From the Principal It is with a great deal of excitement and high expectations that I welcome you to Coats-Erwin Middle School for the 2012-2013 school year. I hope this will be a successful, meaningful, and enjoyable school year for each of you. For those students returning to CEMS, I congratulate you for making this one of the finest middle schools anywhere. I encourage you to maintain these high standards and strive each day to better yourselves. To the 6th graders, this will be a new environment filled with many new challenges. Make new friends and take part in the activities offered at CEMS. Be yourself and maintain your individuality. Do not lose yourself by following the masses. We are extremely fortunate to have such an outstanding faculty. The teachers are here to help make your middle school experience one that will be most rewarding and also fun. Welcome to a new school year at Coats-Erwin Middle School! You can do positively anything with yourself that you deeply desire if you have what it takes to discipline yourself accordingly.
