C oats-Erwin Middle School is committed to the education of our students.  We accept the responsibility of educating the whole student in an atmosphere conducive to all learning, whether academic, the arts, technology, or vocational.  Working as a team consisting of school personnel, parents, and the community, we can prepare our students to become active and responsible citizens in the 21st century.
 
Beliefs
  • All students have the right to be educated in a safe and orderly environment, free to grow and develop academically, socially, and emotionally;
  • All students have their own respective learning styles and instruction should meet individual needs;
  • All students should be encouraged to pursue individual talents and abilities, whether academic, musical, artistic, or sports related;
  • All students should be encouraged to become lifelong learners and productive, contributing members of our society;
  • All students benefit from the cooperative efforts of teachers, administrators, parents, and community members.
