South Harnett Elementary has been working since 2009 in creating a student run, student operated live morning new broadcast called "LIVE @ 8:05". This broadcast is streamed live via our school's closed circuit television system to each and every classroom and office at South Harnett.
We have purchased some great equipment to provide a realistic experience for our students in producing, mixing audio and video, green screening effects, journalism, presentations, and video making/editing opportunities. This program is 100% student run with students in control of the video/effects, scripts, audio/video mixer, camera's and classrooms presenting the morning news each week.
We invite our community, parents/families, and school officials to view our morning broadcasts on-site any morning.
