Mr. Isaac Bancroft




In 2005, Mr. Bancroft came to North Carolina where he joined Harnett County Schools teaching as a Kindergarten teacher at Boone Trail Elementary. Mr. Bancroft taught kindergarten for three years before joining the South Harnett family as our Technology Facilitator in 2008.

Mr. Bancroft earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Environmental Studies at the State University of New York at Potsdam (SUNY Potsdam) in 2004. Mr. Bancroft completed his student teaching in Reigate, Surrey, England where he had the opportunity to become a globally competative learner and teacher. He earned his Masters in Education degree (MAEd) in Instructional Technology and Design at East Carolina University in 2009.

Mr. Bancroft has been a member of NCTIES (formerly NCaect) since 2006 and has co-presented at this State Technology Conference in 2007 and 2011. Mr. Bancroft has presented each year at the Harnett County Technology Conference since its initiation in 2008. Mr. Bancroft is always trying to create new and interesting ways of learning and has received over $6,000.00 in grant opportunities since the start of his teaching career in 2005. Mr. Bancroft is an avid believer in letting the students learn through hands-on creations, peer learning and teacher facilitating. Students will meet high expectations and will challenge themselves through hard work, continued learning and positive support.

Mr. Bancroft is originally from Upstate New York where his parents raised him and his five siblings. He has been married since 2005 and has one daughter, Grace, who is the love of his life. Mr. Bancroft enjoys being outdoors, playing music, cooking, four seasons and cold/snowy weather.
