Alcohol wipes - these are used for cleaning safety glasses and goggles as well as microscope eyepieces.  These wipes are generally found in the section of the store that contains diabetic supplies.

Disinfecting wipes - because nobody likes to be sick, Clorox or Lysol wipes are for students to wipe down common areas to reduce the spread of "cooties".

Facial tissues - for stuffy noses and especially during allergy season

Individually wrapped candies - students love to not only beat their classmates in review Jeopardy, but they like to get a treat too!  I prefer Starburst or Tootsie Rolls (but candy is candy!)

Band-aids for minor boo-boos.

Beyond the basic supplies, there are a few things that I would love to have for my classroom and is really more of a "wistful dream list"

Volunteers for Science Olympiad coaching - I welcome anyone willing to help coach an event (or more!) for Science Olympiad.  I will have an event list posted for the 2013 event just as soon as I am able. 

galileo thermometer - this can be purchased at a variety of sellers

Classroom posters - I try to have my room decorated for our current unit.  While I am slowly adding to my collection, there are plenty of cool posters out there that give the kids something to look at during class changes.
