Mission Statement

South Harnett Elementary School will educate each student with an emphasis on the basics of reading, writing and mathematics.  It will educate each student to provide the knowledge and attitudes necessary to live in today's world and the challenging future.  The purpose of educating students, stressing the basics and beyond, is to develop the maximum potential and positive self concept within each student.  Each student shall become a productive citizen who can interact responsibly with others.  We believe in a fundamental philosophy, that all children can learn.
