OMS Guidance Mission Statement

School counselors will use leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to help establish an environment that is respectful toward a diverse student population.  We will implement a comprehensive school counselling program that will facilitate learning for all students.  Our programs will be planned for the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students.  We are committed to working with students, staff, parents and other stakeholders to insure that OMS students will be prepared to successfully continue their educational endeavors in the 21st century.

*The 7th grade is divided between counselors based on the students' homeroom teacher. 

Please note that we counselors work as a team and if a student's "assigned" counselor is unavailable, they have the option to see the other counselor.
