Mrs. Renee Gilmore is the Assistant Principal at Buies Creek Elementary School.  She has taught in Harnett County for fifteen years.  Mrs. Gilmore has an Associates degree in early childhood education from Central Carolina Community College.  She graduated from Methodist College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.  She obtained her master's degree and licensure in school administration from Campbell University in 2008.  Mrs. Gilmore has three years experience with Pre-K from Henley Roberts Head Start, five years experience with kindergarten, three years with first grade and two years with fourth grade students in the public school system.  She has also taught summer school sessions for fourth grade.

Mrs. Gilmore was born and raised in Harnett County.  She attended Boone Trail Elementary and Western Harnett High School.  Some of her favorite things to do are to spend time with her family, read, work with children, and relax.  She and her family reside in Lillington. 

Mrs. Gilmore believes in making a positive impact in the lives of children.  Her favorite quote is "Making an Impact Today, To Impact the Future".
