Greetings and welcome to my classroom.  My name is Alex Johnson and I am the Director of Instrumental Ensembles at Harnett Central High School.  This is my third year of teaching at Harnett Central after relocating from Southern Michigan.  My primary instrument is saxophone and I enjoy performing outside of school.

I use this site as an additional means of communication with both students and parents so check back regularly for calendar dates, handouts, and audition information.

A note about summer practices prior to band camp: It is understood that members will be on vacation and unable to attend some rehearsals.  Attendance is expected when you are in town - please send a note before any absence.  Band camp, minicamps for guard and percussion, and rehearsals following camp are mandatory and fall under the normal attendance guidelines.
