About Me: Hello! My name is Lovina Goad and this is my first year at Overhills High School teaching twelfth grade English and AP Literature, but this is my twelfth year of teaching. 
I am originally from Hillsville, Virginia, and I completed my Bachelor and Master of Science in English degrees at Radford University. My husband is active duty with the Army at Fort Bragg, and we initially met as pen pals when I was in college. We have two children, a two-year old son, Ryan, and a 6-month-old daughter, Elaina. We also have two fur babies: Australian shepherds, Zeke and Asher.  For fun, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing piano, and practicing photography.
