Hello!  My name is Ms. Cartinia Bivens and this year I will be teaching 7th Grade Math - Go Wolverines!  This is my fifth year of teaching at Overhills Middle.  I'm a twenty year Army veteran but have always had an passion for math.  I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Master of Arts in Teaching Middle Grades Math.

 On a personal note, I grew up in Alabama and currently reside in the area.  I have 2 children one boy and girl. While not teaching, I love spending time being a baseball mom and enjoying my family.
