OES Announcements

  • Sending out this friendly reminder that our survey deadline is tomorrow, Friday, October 16th. We are only accepting this information via this survey.  We currently are missing responses from 320 families.

If you have completed the survey, thank you for doing so. You do not have to resubmit it.

    Original Message:

As you are aware the Harnett County Board of Education approved for all K-5 students to return to school 5 days per week beginning Monday, October 26th. This means that our face to face students will no longer follow the A/B schedule. Due to this change in schedules, families have the option to change their child's learning setting, whether it be face to face or remote. We understand that they has been many surveys sent out but with this change in the school schedule, we are asking that ALL OES families complete this newest survey indicating your child's learning setting whether you plan to change it or not. Why are we wanting all families to complete this survey? Due to the way this school year began, we are missing some vital parent contact and transportation information. This survey will gather multiple types of information we need for our records, including learning setting preferences, parent contact info, and transportation needs. This survey has been sent to you by your child's teacher. If you have not received it, please contact them as soon as possible. The option to change your child's learning setting has a hard deadline of October 16th. As always, we appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and patience as we all navigate these unchartered times together.
