South Harnett Elementary

  • REMOTE LEARNING JANUARY 19th & 20th:
     

    South Harnett Elementary School will participate in remote learning for the rest of this school week - Wed 1/19 & Thurs 1/20. Friday 1/21 is a teacher work day. We will return to in-person learning on Monday 1/24. Necessary information for remote learning will be on the students' Google Classrooms.

    Students can pick up lunches at Coats Elementary or Highland Middle School for those days.

COVID-19 Testing

  • COVID-19 Testing

    We are excited to announce that starting within the next few weeks we will have FREE COVID-19 testing at South Harnett Elementary! This is a voluntary process. Be on the lookout for an email on Wednesday September 29th to register for this fantastic service from our vendor, Mako Medical.

    Harnett County Schools will continue individual diagnostic testing using Rapid and PCR tests for symptomatic / asymptomatic students when necessary starting October 11th, 2021.  NO POOLED PCR TESTING for COVID-19 WILL OCCUR IN THE DISTRICT AT THIS TIME.  As a reminder, no tests will be administered without a completed consent form on file.  For more information on how to provide consent for a student to be tested for COVID-19 at school, please contact our school nurse or designated point of contact for more information.

  • SafeSchools Alert

    Harnett County Schools is now using SafeSchools Alert, a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, parents and others to anonymously submit safety concerns (General, Safety and Bullying) to our administration.   

    Two reporting options are available:   SafeSchool Alert and the Harnett Alert.
