I have experience teaching 6th grade math for 13 years.  Previously I taught at Reid Ross Classical School in Fayetteville, NC.  I have been teaching at Overhills Middle for 3 years.  I am currently pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at Walden University.  I enjoy working with youth which also includes guiding and supporting students towards successful problem solving strategies.
