The media center hosts two book fairs per year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Our next book fair is April 22-29, 2020. All proceeds from this educational fundraiser will go towards purchasing a variety of books and instructional materials to support our media program.
The Book Fair pamphlet sent home is just a sampling of the many books we will have available for purchase. Please do not fill out the form on the back of the pamphlet – your child will have the opportunity to PREVIEW all of the books and make a wish list.
The Book Fair will be open from 8:00 - 4:00 for students and parents to BUY books. Please send money for the Book Fair in a plastic Ziploc bag with your child’s name and the amount enclosed. We will send any change and the receipt back home in the same bag. As part of the PTG sponsorship of our Book Fair, we do not have to charge sales tax! Teachers will have Wish Lists for their classrooms posted in the library, and we would appreciate donations for books for your child’s classroom. Also, we are participating in All for Books, a program to put more books into the hands of students and on the shelves of our library. Please donate any loose change, and your child’s name will be placed on a star and displayed in the library. If a donation is made, your child will also be entered in a drawing to win a free poster from the Book Fair. Scholastic will match monetary donations to non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need. All money collected here will go directly to buying new books for our school
