Welcome Back! We are incredibly excited to begin another year here at Overhills Elementary. This promises to be a year filled with golden opportunities for all of our students as we strive to find ways that we can be even better than we have before!  We embark on this journey with a pledge that we will continue to grow leaders.

We invite and encourage students and parents to work in partnership with us to seize opportunities in all facets of OES programs.

We look forward to a very positive and productive year together!  We extend a special, yearlong invitation to our families to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We want and value your involvement and support in your child’s education!  Your active participation is key to the success of your young Lynxes during his/her elementary school years.

Again, we welcome you back to OES and to our wonderful learning community.

Here’s to an AWESOME new school year as we work together to make our school a great place to work and learn each day!

Mrs. Michele Faircloth-Martin

Hello, I am Michele Faircloth-Martin, one of the Assistant Principals here at Overhills Elementary School. I am so delighted to serve our scholars.  I have been an educator for 25 years (all in Harnett County).  My career in education began in 1991 when I taught 3rd grade at Boone Trail Elementary.  I then went on to teach 1st grade South Harnett and CCR at Anderson Creek.  I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from UNC Wilmington in 1991, a graduate degree in Exceptional Children from Fayetteville State University in 1997, and a Masters in School Administration from Fayetteville State University in 1997. It is an honor to serve the students of OES and I look forward to making a difference in our student's lives.

Please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions.
