What Parents Should Know

  • 🚌 Bus stop safety matters. Please ensure your child arrives at the bus stop safely, on time, and is ready to board when the bus arrives.

  • Be on time. Buses cannot wait at stops, as delays impact the entire route. We ask that parents/students arrive at the bus stop at least ten minutes before the expected arrival time.

  • 🛣️ Route limitations. School buses travel only on state-maintained roads, municipal streets, or roadways with a publicly dedicated right-of-way.

  • 🔄 Route changes may occur. While we strive to keep routes consistent, adjustments may be necessary due to enrollment changes or funding limitations.

  • 👀 Watch for school buses. Please remain alert to school buses on the road and students waiting at bus stops.

  • 📱 Track your child’s bus. Parents are encouraged to use the Here Comes the Bus app for real-time bus tracking and route updates.

  • 🤝 We’re here to help. If you have questions or concerns, our Transportation Department is happy to assist.
