I have been teaching for 22 years.  

I taught 5th Grade at South Harnett Elementary School for four years and in Hoke County before that.  

This is my seventh year at Highland Middle School - ever since we opened!

I am originally from Long Island, NY.

  • Extra School Supplies:

    All students - agenda & water bottle

    Science students - 3x5 notecards and a box or bag to store them

    Math students - calculator that can solve for fractions

    • They do not need to be graphing calculators
    • They shouldn't cost more than $10
    • The school uses Texas Instruments TI-15, but they are more expensive
