Welcome to my second grade class. In order for you to become well acquainted with me, let me tell you just a little bit about myself.
I grew up in a small town in Michigan. I graduated with less that 100 students in my graduating class. We were a close knit group. I moved on to college at Central Michigan University. I received my teaching license in 1990 and then quickly married into the military only to find myself moving and receiving many different licenses. I am licensed in Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, and North Carolina.
During my travels around and across the states my husband and I increased our family size from 2 to 6. We have 3 boys, who are now in 18, 21, and 22. We also have a girl who is 17. So, with my own children and my years of teaching I have a lot of experience with children.
I have worked in Pre-School, Kindergarten, First Grade, Forth Grade, and now Second Grade. I have found that I really enjoy the second graders.
As a side note, I have been very involved in Boy Scouts for the last 10 years, and my husband and I own a kennel. We always have a lot going on to keep the family busy.
