I am originally from the coast of NC. I graduated with honors from Campbell University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in Harnett County Schools since graduation. I started my career as a first grade teacher at Gentry Primary School in which I was nominated the 2007-2008 Teacher of the Year. After six years, I transferred to Coats Elementary School to serve as our Instructional Technology Facilitator. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2009 with a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology. This is my 20th year of teaching and this is my thirteenth year serving as our Instructional Technology Facilitator. I deliver 21st century instruction to our students as well as our faculty and staff. I perform many other technology facilitator duties as well as serve on various school committees.
