I started here as a Harnett County teacher in August of 1997.  I have been blessed by working at great schools.  I am starting my 8th year here at Coats-Erwin Middle School. My children went through and graduated from Harnett County schools. 

     I am involved here at school as a mentor for beginning teachers. I enjoy helping to mold and nurture our new teachers.  I am one of the cheerleading coaches, and I am the lead coach for our Hunter safety team.   I help out with our local chapter of the Kiwanis club at the middle school level.  I believe that all students can learn and be successful. I feel the arts will help our students excel in their future jobs and in life.
