Hello, my name is Caroline Wilson. I will be teaching STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). I believe in a positive classroom environment that is structured, organized, and full of students engaged in learning. I have high expectations for all students and encourage all of my students to be academic workers, polite students, and team players! In STREAM class, the classroom teacher and I will work together to facilitate explorations for students using 21st century skills: creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration.
I have been teaching for 25 years. I was a Spanish teacher and fourth grade teacher for five years in Johnston County. I have taught for 20 years in Harnett County at the same school, Wayne Avenue Elementary. Through the years I have taught fourth grade, fifth grade, and STEM. On a personal note, I have been married for 22 years and I have two children, Grace (16) and Brady (12). I love to spend time with my family doing fun things outside, like going to the zoo!
