"Who dares to teach must never cease to learn." - NovaNews

I am a Language Arts Educator who hail from Guyana, South America. I attended Cyril Potter College of Education in Georgetown Guyana (1994-1997) where I obtained my teacher certification. Since then I have obtained a B.A English (Literature and Linguistics -Major, Spanish - Minor) from University of Guyana (2000-2004) and a Masters in Adult and Continuing Education (2012-2014) from University of the West Indies. During the summer of this year (2017), I did the AP Certification programme in English and Literature

I have spent the last 20 years of my life teaching English and Literature to students of grades 7-12. During the years 1997-2005 I taught in Guyana, 2006-2016 found me in classrooms in the Bahamas and here I am currently on my second year in Harnett County, North Carolina, U.S.A. Consequently, I have gained a lot of international teaching experience.

Teaching is my passion and it is my goal to make a difference in the world in which I live, one child at a time.
