Ms. Brianne Brummer

HELLO! I am Brianne Brummer, the School Counselor at Angier Elementary School.

I am originally from a small beach town in New Jersey, but I have lived in the Raleigh area since 2012. I have been helping children emotionally, socially, and academically for the past 12 years. I recieved my B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and immediately started working with chlidren as a group home counselor and case-manager. When I moved down to NC in 2012 I began working in an elementary school in Wake County as an assisant in the ED classrooms. I continued that position for 4 years while attending graduate school at Salem College. I graduted in 2016 with an M.Ed and License in School Counseling. This is my third year working for Harnett County Schools as a counselor and I absolutely love it.  I look forward to working closely with the staff, students, parents, and community to to help build a successful school counseling program here at Angier.

In my free time you can usually find me running along the trails of Umstead or on the Raleigh greenways. Running and living a healthy lifestyle are very important to me, I try to run 1-2 marathons a year along with several smaller races in between. If I'm not running, I am enjoying time with my husband Patrick, my stepson Grayson, and our fun fluffy goldendoodle Duke!
