Ms. Michelle Davidson
Subject: Curriculum Assistance
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-6
Experience: In the 2019-2020 school year, I was a Math co-teacher at Overhills High School and provided pullout Reading Instruction in a resource setting at Highland Elementary school. I previously taught 4th grade in Cumberland County Schools, completed student teaching at Shughart Elementary and Middle schools, served as a Special Education Aide in three Fort Bragg Schools, and was employed as a Residential Counselor for adolescents ages 12-18 in a substance abuse treatment center in Illinois.
About Me: When away from Overhills High, I enjoy reading, swimming, traveling, spending time with family, and serving in the community. Getting to know students, how they learn, and what helps them to be successful are my reasons for teaching. I firmly believe every student can learn and that we are all lifelong learners. My job is to support students in becoming successful readers!
