Mrs. Kimberly Smith will be the principal at Northwest Harnett Elementary School!
Northwest Harnett Elementary School is being constructed on Rollins Road in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. This K-5 school will soon be educating over 900 Harnett County students, with its doors opening this fall for the 2023-2024 school year. Kimberly Smith describes this new school site as “the foundation for future generations to become productive citizens, making their mark for Harnett and across the world.”
Mrs. Smith is currently the principal at LaFayette Elementary School, which will become the first year-round school in Harnett County next year.
She believes that “Education is an inalienable right for all students despite their culture or disability. All students deserve to be engaged with exceptional learning strategies that foster intrinsic motivation. Students should be free to express their creativity and diversity in a safe, stimulating environment. It is here, they will recognize and achieve their fullest potential, thus enabling them to make a significant contribution to their society.”
