Elizabeth Hodge Named Principal of Lafayette Elementary:
During a Facebook Live yesterday, Harnett County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Aaron L. Fleming formally announced that Mrs. Elizabeth Hodge will be the new principal at Lafayette Elementary School, effective July 1st, 2023.
Starting on July 19th, Lafayette Elementary School will be on a year-round schedule. Mrs. Hodge expressed how excited she was to open the first year-round school in Harnett County, and to “provide a learning environment that is committed to the academic achievement and success of all students”.
Mrs. Hodge is a career educator, serving 23 years in Harnett County - where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from high school in Harnett County and then attended Campbell University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also earned her Master of School Administration Degree from North Carolina State University.
