Jessalyn Pedone has been named the 2023 Social Worker of the Year by the North Carolina Society of Clinical Social Work!
Mrs. Pedone has been with Harnett County Schools for 3 1/2 years as a School Social Worker and Mental Health Specialist.
For over 10 years Jessalyn has worked with diverse populations in various settings. Her comprehensive clinical background comes from working within the K-12 educational system as a school-based therapist and her clinical work in other settings.
As a dedicated clinician, she strives to help others in identifying their potential and make positive changes in their life.
Her professional motto is: "Through trust, empathy and encouragement, we can empower children and adolescents to become the truest and most authentic versions of themselves". It is her passion, and honor to help students overcome their trauma and hardships to navigate and achieve true healing and growth.
