Congratulations to Mr. Nick Weeks on being named as the new principal of Western Harnett Middle School!
Nick grew up in Harnett County and graduated from Triton High School. He received both his undergraduate degree in Teaching Middle Grades Math and Science and his master's degree in School Administration from Campbell University.
Mr. Weeks has 11 years of experience as an educator, serving as a science teacher at Coats-Erwin Middle School for seven years and as Assistant Principal at Overhills Middle School for four years.
He was the Coats-Erwin Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2019 and the 2022-2023 Harnett County Assistant Principal of the Year.
Nick Weeks is excited to serve the Western Harnett community and work alongside the staff and families as a team committed to the growth and success of all students. “My goal is to provide a safe environment with a high-quality staff where students can grow and develop a passion for learning.”
