Congratulations to two Harnett County Schools students, Noah Womack (Harnett Central High School) and Claire Ennis (Triton High School) on being selected to participate in RCW 2023 last week!
The Resource Conservation Workshop was held at NC State University and sponsored by the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts in conjunction with the NC Division of Soil and Water Conservation, NC State University Crop and Soil Science Department, and the Soil and Water Conservation Society Hugh Hammond Bennett Chapter.
RCW is a week-long intensive study, covering a wide range of conservation topics. Through field study, active participation, and hands-on activities, students learned about natural resources and managing them in the current global environment.
Kudos to Claire for receiving the third highest test score out of 55 attendees!
