SCHOOL BUS DRIVER APPRECIATION WEEK
February is Love the Bus Month. It is a month-long celebration of the yellow school bus experience and the importance of school bus transportation.
On February 7th, 2024, Governor Roy Cooper once again proclaimed February 12-16 as “Bus Driver Appreciation Week”.
Over 11,000 school buses provide safe transportation to more than 650,000 students every day. We appreciate school bus drivers and recognize the valuable contribution to public education and student safety.
Join us as we celebrate the people who literally make the “wheels on the bus go round and round” to bring our children to and from school safely!
