Harnett County Schools hosted a signing day for new participants in the Growing Greatness program at the Board of Education on Friday, May 3rd.
This is the 4th year with the "grow your own" initiative. We welcome 15 new students beginning the program and 17 returning for a total of 32.
The mission of the Growing Greatness initiative, is to nurture students in our local high schools and universities in order to recruit future teachers for Harnett County Schools. We believe that investing in our own students will produce quality teachers–deeply rooted in our district–who will spend their career impacting the students of Harnett County.
