Tonight, we proudly honored our incredible educators during our 2025 Educator of the Year Celebration at the John B. Gathering Place in Broadway, NC.
Congratulations to Mr. Michael Reimer of Overhills High School, who was named our 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year. Mr. Reimer exemplifies excellence in education, and we are proud to have him represent the very best of our district.
We also celebrated our Beginning Teachers of the Year, and we're excited to announce that Ms. Tasha McDowell of Coats-Erwin Middle School was named the 2025-2026 Beginning Teacher of the Year!
The evening also recognized Teacher of the Year nominees from each school and honored recipients of the 2025-2026 Outstanding Service Awards, who unwaveringly dedicate themselves to our students and schools.
