Congratulations to Boone Trail Elementary School’s New Principal: Mrs. Angel Myatt
Mrs. Myatt hails from Harnett County Schools. After graduating from Western Harnett High School, she attended Grand Canyon University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. A life-long learner, she earned another Master’s degree (School Administration) from Campbell University in 2019.Mrs. Myatt has been serving Harnett County Schools for over 19 years. She began her career in education as a teacher assistant and bus driver at Anderson Creek Primary School. She later became a teacher and taught third grade at South Harnett Elementary for four years. Eventually, returned to Anderson Creek Primary. This time, as a second grade teacher. For the past three years, Angela Myatt has been serving as Assistant Principal at ACPS.
We wish her well as she begins her next chapter as the Principal at Boone Trail Elementary School. We are grateful for her hard work and dedication in service to the children and families of Harnett County. What an inspiration to us all!
