#AboutLastNight: District Science Fair
Harnett County Schools celebrated the 45th Annual Science Fair at STAR Academy in Lillington.
Display boards filled the room where 120 elementary and middle school students competed for a chance to represent the school district at the upcoming North Carolina Regional Science and Engineering Fair at UNC Pembroke.
Science projects are a great way for students to engage in active learning. Through inquiry, strategic thinking, and the hands-on application of scientific methods, students gain valuable problem solving skills.
Science Fair competitions encourages and rewards excellent performance. Progression to higher levels of competition can open doors to of great opportunity for students.
