Mr. Robert Breyer, Principal

Greetings Anderson Creek Primary School!

I am Robert Breyer and I am very humbled and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Anderson Creek Primary School and to join this incredible school community. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s dedication to caring for our students every day while providing them with a meaningful learning environment.

Although I am an educator, I am also a father and husband. I have 4 children, Josh, Chloe, Aubriana and Brielle and I have been married to my wife Jen for the past 11 years. She is a 1st grade teacher in the district, and I am grateful to have a partner in this work who I can bounce ideas off of and she provides me authentic feedback from a teachers perspective.

The 2022-2023 school year marks my 18th year in education. I have served as an elementary school teacher in both 3rd and 5th grades for six and half years. I left the classroom and served a year as an intern for school administration at a K-3 school. I then accepted an assistant principal position at the high school level for 1 year before returning to an elementary school as an assistant principal for 3 years. I have served as the Principal of Cameron ES for the past 6 years and I am excited to begin a new adventure in my educational journey.

My vision for Anderson Creek Primary is based on the 3 E’s. Engage every child during every lesson. Get every student excited about learning by making lessons relevant to our students' lives. And to help every child excel at a higher level. I assure you that our students' well-being and success is the primary focus of my work, and the driving force in my decision making process.

I firmly believe that every child can excel and that the cooperation between home and school is vital in building trust and self-esteem in our students. I have devoted myself to creating a school atmosphere that is safe, but is also fun for our students. I want students to love coming to school because they are so excited to see what experiences we have in store for them. With my goal of continuing to advance the culture of excellence here at Anderson Creek Primary, I am devoted to continually exploring new ideas to meet the needs of all students and to interact with parents and community members more efficiently. I will be meeting with the staff, with parents, and students throughout the year to identify specific goals in the areas of student achievement, school climate, and parent communication.

To our students, I cannot wait to meet all of you! I hope that you had an amazing school year and that you are excited about the upcoming school year. It is my personal goal to make sure that this school year is going to be meaningful and fun. I am excited to see you in your classrooms, and spending some time interacting with you throughout the school.

To our parents and community members, please know that my door is always open to you. I sincerely welcome your conversation and input during this year. Let us keep our students as the primary focus of our work. I can’t wait to celebrate our collective successes during the 2022-2023 school year.

Hello, Anderson Creek Family!

I’m Sheri Trudeau and I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as your Assistant Principal at Anderson Creek Elementary.  Go Cubs!

A little about myself…

I have been supporting Harnett County Schools’ educational programs since 2007.  During this time, I have served as a second and third grade teacher, Instructional Coach, Reading Recovery teacher, and Assistant Principal. I am, and always have been, passionate about education and the future doors of opportunity it will provide for our students. It is my belief that all students can learn and achieve success through a positive and engaging learning environment while setting high expectations.

My family relocated to beautiful North Carolina, our permanent home, when my husband retired after serving 25 years in the Air Force.  I am blessed to have three amazing daughters and one awesome son-in-law.  When I am not at school, I can be found tending our  “farm” critters, gardening, and attempting stained glass projects (always open to advice…).

Again, I’m very excited to be working with you all and looking forward to meeting you in person.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
