Mrs. Christie Bolton
Welcome to the Media Center!
I am excited to be given the opportunity to share the love of reading to our Anderson Creek Primary Cubs! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Methodist University and a Master of Library Science degree from East Carolina University. I am a member of the North Carolina School Library Media Association and serve on the Harnett County School's Building Engineers Committee and the North Carolina Children's Book Award Committee. I enjoy inspiring a love of reading and getting students excited about books! It is an honor to serve the students, staff, and community of Anderson Creek Primary School.

North Carolina Children's Book Awards
The North Carolina Children's Book Award program is a children's choice program sponsored by school and public librarians in North Carolina. It is designed to introduce children to current children's literature and to instill a love of reading. Each year, the Anderson Creek Cubs participate in this program and its voting process.

Students can explore eBooks and Interactive LightBoxes by going into their class link and clicking the Destiny Discover icon.
Access can also be reached by going to the Harnett County Schools website and clicking on Students - Quick Links - Destiny and using their PowerSchool number to access.

Book Fair
Anderson Creek Primary School has a Book Fair each year to help promote the love of reading!
Our Book Fair will be open from February 23rd - March 6th. More information to come!
The Scholastic Book Fair is a perfect opportunity to celebrate Read Across America and purchase great books for your child!
Proceeds from the Book Fair will benefit our students and staff and be used to improve our library.
We hope you join us for this celebration of BOOKS and READING!
