Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Meredith Remus
I am excited to be the Physical Education teacher at Anderson Creek Primary with an amazing staff for the 8th year!! I work with the Student Lighthouse Team, helping to make amazing leaders at Anderson Creek!
Prior to coming to ACPS, I was a Physical Education/Health teacher and Coach at Overhills High School for 7 years. School Pride is my passion and keeping students interested in physical activity for life is my mission!
Prior to moving to North Carolina, I lived in Maryland, working as a PE/Health teacher, working with Special Education, and coaching soccer and softball. I graduated from "Wild and Wonderful" West Virginia University where I earned my Bachelors in Phys. Ed and Health Education and received my Masters in Athletic Coaching Education.
I played JV soccer at West Virginia for a year as a goalie. I switched to club softball where I was an outfielder. I played Varsity soccer and softball at Frostburg State University (in Maryland) for a year before transferring back to WVU.
