My name is Judy Alcalde, and I am your child’s Spanish Dual Immersion teacher in Fourth Grade.

I am from Colombia, South America, and I have been teaching for 24 years, both in my home country and in the United States. My first experience here was in Virginia, from 2008 to 2012 and I loved it so much that I decided to come back. ☺

I am married and have a 19-year-old son who stayed home attending medical school.

Mi nombre es Judy Alcalde y soy la maestra de su hijo en el programa Dual de Inmersión en español de grado cuarto.

Soy Colombiana y he sido maestra por 24 años tanto en mi país como en Los Estados Unidos.  Mi primera experiencia aquí fue  enseñando en Virginia entre el 2008 y 2012 y me gustó tanto, que decidí regresar. 

Soy casada y tengo un hijo de 19 años quien está en Colombia cursando 9no semestre de medicina.

Estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo/a y sé que será un gran año para todos. ☺
