Meet the School Counselor

Ms. Poe

Poe, Kristin

2025-2026 marks my 21st year in Education and my 15th year as a Counselor. I have taught third through fifth grades and also have my AIG Certification.

In 2008, I graduated with my Masters of Education in School Counseling. I started my counseling career as a 9th grade counselor but realized my heart was still with elementary school. My favorite activities are biking, swimming, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Buddy Backpack:

This is a national program that was created to provide families with additional food resources over the weekend.

  • We offer Buddy Backpack to families that may need extra food.

  • The program can only support a certain number of students so spots will be given to those families on a first come first serve.

  • Please contact Mrs. Poe if you are interested in joining this program.
