ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in North Carolina. I have 1 sister and 1 brother, both are teachers; 3 god sisters, 1 amazing niece, and 2 awesome goddaughters, who are the absolute apples of my eye! I consider myself to be a "Jack of All Trades," because I hold various positions outside the school walls. I serve as the Secretary for a nonprofit organization, where we assist cancer patients, and I am the owner & founder of "Simmons Flyer Designs." When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, watching movies, designing different graphics, and spending time with my amazing family, friends, and my goddaughters.

Education:

I graduated Cum Laude from Fayetteville State University (Bronco Pride), with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2015. I currently attend East Carolina University. This is my 8th year teaching, and my 4th year at Buies Creek Elementary.
