Welcome to Third Grade!✨

My name is Shaquelle McKiver. This is my 7th year of teaching and my 3rd year at Benhaven Elementary. I was raised in Hoke County (Raeford, NC) and I taught there for my first 3 years of teaching (grades 2 and 3). I love teaching 3rd grade because the students mature and start making a lot of connections. It's like fireworks, and so exciting to see! I graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from Fayetteville State University and have a current teaching license. I love building relationships with my students and building their confidence as well.

Spending time with my family brings me joy! We have a family of seven, so they keep us on our toes. I enjoy reading, crafting, shopping, enjoying adventures, and making memories. My favorite places to spend money is TeachersPayTeachers, Amazon, Marshalls, Ross, and Target. My favorite colors are red and shades of purple. My favorite restaurants are Maggiano's, Chipotle, and Carrabbas. My favorite place to visit is Charleston, SC. It is beautiful!
