I have been an educator and counselor for many years. I received my academic training at Shorter College, Rome Georgia (Vocal Performance), Florida Memorial University, Miami Florida (B.S., Music Education), and Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (M.A. Guidance /Counseling).  My professional career has been dedicated to educating underserved students in Career Education and Teaching Teachers to Integrate Music in their Classrooms (Adjunct Instructor at Nova Southeastern University).

Nine years ago, I relocated to Fayetteville, North Carolina, were my first job was teaching voice and piano to a diverse group of students at Snyder Memorial Music Academy . My next career assignment was in Cumberland County as a music teacher at Alma Easom, Lillian Black, Walker Spivey Elementary Schools. Currently, I am enjoying  teaching music at Benhaven Elementary. My goal is to stimulate students creative through music and give them confidence to try anything.
