EXPERIENCE

I will be entering my 25th year of education in the 2024-2025 school year. I started my career with Harnett County in July 2000. Since beginning my teaching career, I have taught kinder/first combo class, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. I look forward to the upcoming school year and building relationships with my students and their family.

ABOUT ME

I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I arrived in North Carolina by way of the military. I met my husband while serving in the Air Force. We have two daughters, a son, and seven grandsons.

I love being an educator and helping students reach their full potential. I have high expectations and establish principles that demand excellence and build a solid foundation for lifelong learning. An important part of my professional mission is to be a positive role model for my students and coworkers.

I coach, I don't enable. I create independence, one individual at a time.
