Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Savannah Riser
My name is Savannah Riser. I am originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina but I am from a military family, so I have moved around quite a bit. North Carolina will always be home! I attended Fayetteville State University where I received my Bachelors in Psychology, but I quickly realized that children were my passion. I then enrolled at Liberty University and received my Masters in Elementary Education.
I joined Benhaven in September 2020 with the 5th grade family. Being a part of fifth grade is exciting because of the science activities and social studies. My goal is to prepare students for middle school by teaching communication skills and critical thinking, as I foster a positive learning environment.
