Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Donna L. Toney

Learning and teaching are my passion. I am currently serving as a Literacy Interventionist. I have 28 years in education. I have taught third grade, Reading Recovery, and served as an interventionist over the years.
I am the mother of two young men. I love and adore witnessing them grow as young adults. I recently married my carrying, generous husband. As a result of this marriage, I now have four new children and eight grandchildern. I am a truly blessed in so many ways.
I love playing word games, hanging out with my cat Tickles, shopping at thrift stores, and traveling.

As an interventionist, I will instruct students individually or in small groups with a focus on literacy skills. Students selected to receive interventions are consistently shifting and changing in order to best serve our students. The goal of the targeted interventions is to provide instruction and support to students in order for them to reach grade level performance in literacy skills., you can add an image or table below.
