My name is Nicole Vought. I am currently a second grade teacher at Benhaven Elementary School. This is my seventeenth year teaching, with the majority of my experience in second grade. I have also taught kindergarten and fourth grade in the past. However, second grade is my favorite grade to teach. I am passionate about education and dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential. I grew up in northern New Jersey, and attended college at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. North Carolina has been my home for a little over fifteen years now. I have three children - Chaz - who is 15, Nolan - who is 10, and Adeline - who is 3. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, and taking walks.
