Boone Trail Elementary School

Georgia Lee H. Patterson, BSN, RN, NCSN is the school nurse for Boone Trail Elementary School. She is also Nurse Team Leader for the Overhills attendance area. She has over 20 years of experience as a school nurse with Harnett County Schools. Georgia Lee received her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. She became a Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN) in 2002. She loves working with children and has a passion for school health. There is a recognized relationship between health and learning. One of Georgia Lee's primary goals as a school nurse is to help bridge the gap between students' health and well-being and their educational success. Safety is a number one priority. She works to address the major health problems experienced by children by providing preventive care and screening services as well as interventions for acute illness/injury and long-term management of students with special health care needs. 

Georgia Lee was born and raised in the Boone Trail community and is proud to still call this home. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, reading, baking, and gardening. She loves her job and the students/families she serves. Go Pioneers!
